Educational Partner License Terms and Conditions
Educational Partnership & Institutional Licensing Policy
The Musgrove Food Index Educational Partnership Program provides culinary schools, colleges, universities, and related institutions with reduced-rate access to a digital culinary resource designed to support education, creativity, research, and learning.
1. Partnership Levels
Options may include Educational License, Educational Partner, and Strategic Culinary Partner. Each proposal will identify pricing, authorized users, license term, and included benefits.
2. Authorized Users
Access is limited to students, faculty, and other users approved in the institutional agreement. Each user must maintain an individual account. Sharing or transferring login credentials is prohibited. Institutions must notify The Musgrove Food Index when a user is no longer eligible.
3. Educational Resources
Depending on the partnership, users may receive access to food ideas, meal ideas, pairings, cooking techniques, recipes, culinary ratios and formulas, specialized references, and forum resources. Content may be updated or changed as the Index develops.
4. Educational Use
Resources may support classroom instruction, independent study, research, recipe and menu development, food-pairing exploration, technique research, and culinary creativity. The Index is a supplemental resource and does not replace qualified instruction, curriculum, textbooks, laboratories, or required food-safety training.
5. Partner Recognition
Qualifying institutions may receive official Educational Partner or Strategic Culinary Partner recognition and permission to display an approved Musgrove Food Index partnership badge. Recognition does not represent accreditation, endorsement, or formal academic affiliation unless separately agreed in writing.
6. Intellectual Property
The Musgrove Food Index and its original content, collections, organization, branding, formulas, and website materials remain the property of The Musgrove Food Index and/or Charles Anthony Musgrove. Access does not transfer ownership. Copying, resale, redistribution, or republication without permission is prohibited.
7. Payment & Term
Fees, payment terms, authorized users, and license duration are established in the applicable proposal or agreement. Access may be suspended or terminated for nonpayment, misuse, unauthorized access, or violation of these terms. Refunds and cancellations are governed by the applicable agreement.
8. Acceptance
Acceptance of a proposal, payment of an invoice, or use of licensed access constitutes acceptance of these terms. A written institutional agreement controls if it conflicts with this policy.
